Solar (PV) Electricity is gaining in popularity because it uses a reliable and renewable source of energy, the sun. If your home gets good unobstructed access to the sun’s rays for most or all of the day and most of the year, your home will benefit from a well-designed PV System. Here in the U. S., the sun is always in the southern half of the sky and it is higher in the summer and lower in the winter. As a rule, a PV system should be mounted on a South-Facing Rooftop, However, East or West-Facing roofs may also be acceptable. Proper Landscaping can reduce your energy costs.
Trees can help shade and reduce cooling expenses and work as windbreaks to
reduce heating costs. Some landscaping requires less water, condiser using
alterative options.
